Reduction of fuel consumption of outboard aircraft due to departure queue optimization

At busy airports aircraft departures are often delayed for a long time because of runway congestion. There is a known algorithm for optimizing the flow of outbound aircraft by the criterion of minimal runway-occupancy time which allows the average aircraft delay to be reduced and the runway capacity to be increased. In the paper the influence of the optimization algorithm on fuel consumption is analyzed and the economic benefit of its use is estimated. The modelling results showed optimization usefulness provided that the traffic is of high intensity.

Mathematical modeling of wind disturbances acting on the vertical channel of an unmanned aerial vehicle

The paper presents the mathematical dependences of the wind component in the vertical channel on the flight parameters of an unmanned aerial vehicle   (UAV), wind strength and features of its modeling. Significant factors of modeling conditions influence on the wind component acting on the UAV in the vertical channel are found.

Analysis of diagnostic techniques for aircraft aerometric systems with the use of data recorders

The article contains some results of the analysis of diagnostic models and techniques for defining the dynamic errors in indications (measurements) of flight altitude and speed parameters caused by lag (delay) of pressure transmission in the lines of the pitot probe systems. Their essential drawbacks are revealed and the ways of their elimination are defined.
