The activities of the political police against revolutionary agitational work of illegal socialist parties in Irkutsk in 1905

In this article based on unpublished historical sources from the State Archive of Irkutsk Oblast the war of the political police against agitational work of socialist political parties of Irkutsk is analysed. It elucidates the general methods of the police, and sheds light on the problems that emerged due to the agitational work of the police.
