Mitin A. K., Nikolaykina N. E.

The research results of an original-design polymeric nozzle for cleaning the emissions of volatile organic compounds are presented. The device is recommended for vapor recovery of paint coat solvents at maintenance and repair. Cleaning efficiency is up to 99%. Results of hydrodynamic research are described, recommendations about a choice of biofilters operating mode and about their use in civil aviation are made.

Keywords: biofilters; volatile organic compounds; emissions cleaning, environmental protection; aviation equipment service.

Methods of reducing the impact of the working environment during the aircraft maintenance

UDC 656.7; 629.7 BBK 39.5

Khudyakov Y. G., Nikolaykin N. I.

The article considers the issues of decision support by the example of organization of technical service (for example, aviation enterprises). The purpose of these solutions is reducing the negative impact factors of the working environment. The authors propose algorithm and methods of actions of the managerial system at the enterprises to reduce occupational traumatism andoccupational morbidity. As a result the level of safety in the industry increases.

Keywords: air transport; technical service; aerotechnics; working environment; danger; occupational traumatism;occupational morbidity.

The analysis of casual processes at interaction of structural elements of aviation transport system

UDC 351.814.1 BBK 39.58

Marasanov P. O.

Nowadays an aviation transport system – a complex structural formation – is developed and operating. The level of safety of flights is a special criterion which is developed for an assessment of aviation transport system functioning. Adverse factors lead to formation and development of particular situations in the system. To assess the possible consequences a special classification of kinds (or ranks) of particular situations is developed.

Key words: aviation transport system, the level of safety of flights, airport power supply system, particular situation, probabilistic mathematical model.

An addition to the question of calculations of complicated and majority systems failure-free

UDC 629.7/621.01 BBK 30в6

Furmanova E. A., Bojko O. G., Shajmardanov L. G.

The article proposes a methodological approach based upon the notion that at the stationary approach the probability of element failure in a workable part of the system may be defined by the total density of elements failure probability flows in the system’s part.

The purpose of the article is to compare the possibilities of traditional and proposed methods of calculating the majority and bridged systems failure-free.

The results obtained with proposed approach strictly match the systems failure conditions. The approach appropriateness is confirmed by the results of experimental research. The methods proposed in the article may be used in calculating the failure-free of the aircraft and spacecraft functional systems.

Key words: majority system, complicated system, failure probability, elements failure flow density, failure discreteness.

The concept and the results of aerodynamic design of a wing-in-ground-effect (WIG) vehicle with a wide range of operating angles of attack

UDC 629.7.016 BBK 39.5

Vshivkov Y. F.Galushko E. A.Krivel’ S. M.

The article presents approaches to designing a WIG vehicle with specified maneuvering characteristics and a wide operating speed range for level flight. Providing the maneuverability mounts challenges to operational range of angles of attack and lift coefficients. The aerodynamic design of a WIG vehicle meeting the requirements is proposed.

Key words: a WIG vehicle; maneuverability; a lift coefficient; aerodynamic design.
