Specificity of fastening of cargo in emergency supply

The article deals with the special features of fastening of cargo in crisis situations during the emergency supply. The emphasis is placed on crisis situations where limited transport infrastructure is available for emergency supply purposes. Under these conditions, problems with transport of emergency supplies to and within the crisis situation area can be assumed. Based on the statistical evaluation of the transport experiment carried out on the road (motorway) and on unpaved communications (terrain) respectively recommendations are made in relation to the fastening of cargo.

SPECIFIKA UPEVŇOVÁNÍ NÁKLADU V RÁMCI NOUZOVÉHO ZÁSOBOVÁNÍ

Článek řeší zvláštnosti upevnění nákladu v krizových situacích během procesu nouzového zásobování. Důraz je položen na krizové situace, kdy je pro účely nouzového zásobování k dispozici omezená dopravní infrastruktura. V uvedených podmínkách lze předpokládat problémy v přepravě nouzových zásob do prostoru krizové situace a v rámci ní. Na základě statistického vyhodnocení přepravního experimentu, který byl proveden na silnici (dálnici), resp. na nezpevněné komunikaci (terénu), jsou předloženy doporučení ve vztahu k upevnění nákladu.

Performance optimization of a pulse-type combustion chamber

The article describes methodology of solving an optimization problem on choice of the main performances of a pulse-type combustion chamber.  The system elements were considered. The authors demonstrate how to choose the criterion which provides evaluation of performances of the system or its model to figure out “the best” model or a set of “the best” conditions for system operation. The choice of an optimization method was demonstrated and the results of solving the optimization problem are provided.

The article focuses on the principles of construction of the developed hardware-software simulator for primary radar signals of the control radar. The use of the proposed hardware simulator within a dispatching radar will significantly improve its competitiveness due to the possibility of realization of the modes of research and implementation of existing and future algorithms for radar information processing.

The rationale for capacity settings of an indoor warehouse for piece goods

The author researches numerous variants of cargo rack storage on the pallets with dimensions of 1,200×800 mm taking into consideration filling the storage area by length, width and height for different parameters of cargo. The patterns of changing the storage area capacity are revealed. To estimate the capacity of an indoor warehouse for piece goods, a parameters series was developed.

Concerning the use of 3VL80S electric locomotives on the Uzbek railway section Marokand-Navoi

The article presents the research results of analysis and estimate of transportation efficiency of 3VL80S mainline (train) three-section electric locomotives on the hilly and mountainous section Marokand-Navoi of JSC “Uzbekiston temir yullari” with non-stop and stop-and-go freight traffic at passing tracks, intermediate stations and intersections. The values of kinematic and energy parameters of the key figures of 3VL80S electric locomotives allow the locomotive complex specialists to elaborate recommendations for increasing  the efficiency of rail transport in real conditions of operating a tractive electric stock on hilly and mountainous railway sections.

Evaluating the efficiency of transport operation of an electric tractive rolling – stock on a hilly-mountainous railway section

The article presents the results of validation of operating parameters of 3VL80S mainline (train) three-section electric locomotives on a real hilly and mountainous railway section with non-stop and stop-and-go freight traffic at passing tracks, intermediate stations and intersections as well as estimation of the traction qualities (properties) of the track profile for this section. Criteria for the estimation are the adjusted values of overall and specific power consumption for hauling operation numerically and in terms of money with account taken of the values of equated time of train travel in traction mode and of the specific power consumption per trip. The research results were received using the methods and techniques of the locomotive-traction theory with account of basic indicators of the traction-energy efficiency of 3VL80S use in the form of tabular data and curves. The research results are recommended for practical use by engine-drivers, termotechnic instructors and experts of linear enterprises of the Uzbek railway locomotive complex who deal with issues of energetics of freight and passenger trains movement on the real hilly and mountainous and identical virtual railway sections.
