The article is devoted to peculiarities of translation of eponymous terms. The study aims at giving an overview of common translation techniques for German eponymous geological terms and the problems occurring during their translation. The authors also give recommendations for effective translation of eponyms.

The article represents a synopsis of the findings on the structural-grammatical transformations and the linguistic features of the scripts to S. Daldry’s and T. Hooper’s films. The paper also tackles the nature of such notions as discourse and film discourse, which proves relevant for determining the structural changes taking place within the process of scripts translation.

This article considers a problem of defining psychological mechanisms of development of tolerance personality in psychology. The concept «psychological mechanisms» as a content category used for describing a process of intrapersonal changes and individual mental transformations is determined on the basis of scientific works analysis. The definition of tolerance as a personal quality is given. The mechanisms of its development are proved.
